W3N 2025 Puts Narva on the European Map of Web3 and AI Innovation
On December 4–5, 2025, the international W3N 2025 Conference took place in Narva, Estonia, reaffirming its position as one of Europe’s most distinctive boutique innovation festivals. The two-day event brought together 400+ participants, 30 international speakers, and a diverse mix of startup founders, investors, policymakers, developers, and creatives working at the intersection of Web3, artificial intelligence, and future technologies.
W3N 2025 demonstrated that world-class technology events can thrive beyond capital cities, positioning Narva as a meaningful hub for cross-border innovation and collaboration.
Exploring the Convergence of AI, Web3, and Regulation
The conference programme focused on key topics shaping the future of technology and entrepreneurship:
- AI x Web3 convergence and real-world applications
- Digital identity and privacy, including self-sovereign identity solutions
- Regulation and compliance, with a strong focus on MiCA and GDPR
- Startup building and fundraising in a challenging market environment
- Cultural decentralisation, where technology meets creativity
Panels, workshops, pitch competitions, and keynotes offered practical insights as well as strategic perspectives from global and regional experts.
Strong Platform for Startups and Investors
W3N 2025 provided tangible value for the startup ecosystem:
- 10 startups competed in pitch contests
- Discussions addressed emerging investment trends and sustainable Web3 business models
- Participation from investors and ecosystem stakeholders, including EstBAN, supported meaningful founder–investor connections
The event strengthened links between the Estonian startup ecosystem and international innovation networks.
Empowering Youth and Regional Growth
Youth engagement was a key priority. Over 50 young participants, ranging from high school to university level, attended from across Estonia and neighbouring countries. Through workshops and networking opportunities, W3N fostered early exposure to global innovation ecosystems, supporting Ida-Viru County’s long-term entrepreneurial development.
More Than a Conference
W3N’s boutique format deliberately blended technology with culture. Alongside the main programme, participants experienced:
