Estonian Startup Database

Estonian Startup Database is the most extensive source for Estonian startups, powered by Startup Estonia. Get an overview of Estonian startups by ranking and filtering them by sectors, technology, stage, employee count, turnover, etc. You can also create custom reports of specific sectors. For overviews and definitions of specific sectors, click on ‘’Sector insights’’ below.

Source of data

Taxes paid, turnover, and number of employees come from Estonian Tax and Customs board public data. These numbers are updated quarterly.
Startup specific information (startup name, juridical name, registration code, logo, sector, technologies, stage, founding year, keywords and industries that describe the product or service, one-liner, business model, total investments received (if allowed), website links to other related databases and startup based networks) may have the following sources:

1. Startup has joined with the database and has entered the information himself. The field “ Database entry reviewed by startup” shows the last time when the startup has visited its account.
2. Startups with already existing Dealum accounts are asked to join the Estonian Startup Database and update their data.
3. Startup Estonia's team discovers a new startup not yet in the database and adds it (data found in various public sources, eg. E-krediidiinfo, homepage, social media, startup news).  Startup Estonia has invited all discovered startups to create its account and update the information.
