World Summit Awards call for Estonian nominations

The World Summit Awards are a unique awards system, selecting and promoting local digital innovation to improve society.

Combining an ongoing series of international events and activities with a global network of startups, social entrepreneurs, mentors, jurors, speakers, experts, government leaders, academia, and civil society, WSA is an international platform for cutting edge examples of how ICTs can impact society in a positive way.
 
With over 15 years of international experience, WSA is a quality seal for digital content with societal impact in over 180 participating countries and Estonia joined just recently.
 
 We will choose 8 nominations, one for each category. You'll find the categories here.
 
Criteria for nominations:
  • digital solution, webpage, app, games, kiosk installations, applications for wearables, software solutions;
  • with a content aspect;
  • already introduced to the local market and not older than 2 years;
  • concrete positive impact on society, contributing to one of the UN SDGs;
  • innovative - it has to be new, innovative, and outstanding in the respective local ecosystem or for the respective target group;
  • type of company is not relevant - can come from social business, startup, governmental organisation, university, corporate company, etc.
 
WSA timeline:

Until September 27: WSA call for Estonia's nominations
-October/November 2020: Online Jury
-November 2020: Grand Jury Meeting (online)
-March 2021: WSA Global Congress and Winners Ceremony (online)
