Startup Estonia is a proud partner of the State of Gender Diversity in European Venture initiative led by Female Foundry.
Female Foundry is a European network of over 5,000 venture capital firms and entrepreneurs in Europe, that provides mentorship, support networks, knowledge, and access to capital for female founders and investors.
This survey will provide invaluable information about funding opportunities for female entrepreneurs. Your perspective is vital in mapping out the current state of European ventures.

If you could change any law to enable a new business model, what would it be?
Are you an entrepreneur with groundbreaking ideas that are currently held back by regulatory barriers? Estonia is in search of entrepreneurs looking to turn challenges into new market opportunities and as a result develop significant economic benefits for Estonia.
Estonia’s national innovation lab Accelerate Estonia is looking for novel solutions that are blocked by systemic barriers and need public sector intervention. Apply to remove regulatory barriers from your path to success and create new opportunities together which benefit you, the surrounding industry, Estonia and the world.
EdTech Hack 2023
A total of 35 teams and 200 participants from 45 countries around the world took part in the international education hackathon organized by Tallinn University, EdTech Estonia, and Startup Estonia, both on-site at Tallinn University and online. Nearly half of the teams consisted of members from more than one nationality.
Among the winning ideas of the “EdTech Hack 2023” educational hackathon were both collaborative learning and solutions supporting language education. In total, 14 teams were recognized for their monetary and non-monetary ideas: Digiabi, KOIT, Edmap, Estonian Odyssey: Learning through narrative-based game, Transful, Stories about Baltics, Siftlab, Claar Education, Õpivaim, KaiMeRa, AI Tools for Teachers in Estonia, Vestlur, Inu, MyZone.
The goal of the education hackathon was to collaboratively develop and test innovative ideas within 48 hours that improve the accessibility of education or provide solutions to existing problems. Elevator pitches from the hackathon can be viewed on Tallinn University’s YouTube channel.
